Make activities visible

Activities are hidden from students and parents when they are created. For an activity and the handed-out content to become visible to students and/or parents, the access level must be changed to read-only or active by a teacher.

Access Levels:

🔴 Hidden – The activity is not visible to students/parents.
🟡 Read-only – Students/parents can view the activity, but not edit the activity or write messages.
🟢 Active – Students/parents can view and edit the activity and write messages.

Changing Access Levels

Access levels can be changed for students and parents, for the entire class or individually. You can also:

• Schedule change of access levels, to activate or hide activities at specific times.
• Change access levels for several students at once using bulk actions, or individually from the activity overview.
• Change access levels on the activity when handing out sheets in the activity.

What parents can see

If you give parents read-only or active access to an activity, they will see their child's workspace, including messages and assessments. Parents do not have access to group chats.

If an activity is hidden from parents, it will not be visible to them. Assessments made in a hidden activity will be visible to parents in the status tool.
