ILP periods

Ongoing periods

There is always one active, ongoing ILP period. The period start date is displayed in the student list and within each student's ILP.

Visibility ends the period

When the ILP is made visible, the ILP period is ended. This is shown in the student list with an end date and a yellow eye icon. You can also see whether a guardian has viewed the ILP. This is indicated in the student list with a green eye icon.

Archiving

Before an ILP can be archived, it must first be made visible to the student and guardian. To create a new ILP period, the current period must be archived. When an ILP is archived, a new period begins on the date the previous ILP was last made visible and the period was ended.

Note: Once an ILP has been archived, it can no longer be edited.

Making changes to a visible ILP

You can make changes to an ILP that has been made visible, provided it has not yet been archived. Turn off visibility for the student and guardian, make the desired changes, and then make the ILP visible again.

The ILP period will be extended to the date on which the ILP was most recently made visible. The indicator showing whether the ILP has been viewed by the student and guardian will be reset.
